I tried the ancient tradition of washing your wool clothing in the snow. My takeaway was that’s it’s great for lifting surface dirt and deodorizing. Set it spots probably need a good hand wash. But overall it was snow much fun to freshen my wool outside in Mother Nature.

Progress update on our DIY home build. We are building a modest size home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC. Our exterior is prepped and our next step is the permanent roof. While we wait for the roof to be installed we are prepping some outdoor areas, like our concrete entry slab and outdoor living/dining space.
