Homemade Bone Broth

Easy homemake bone broth or stock
Prep Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • Chicken carcass or bones
  • 2 carrots
  • 2-3 stalks of celery
  • 1 onion halved or quartered
  • 4 tbsp salt more to taste
  • 2 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 bay leaf

Equipment

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Method
 

  1. Add check carcass or bones to your slow cooker
  2. Add vegetables
  3. Add spices
  4. Fill slow cooker to fill line with water
  5. Cook on High for approximately 24 hours
  6. Strain and store
